Often stewardship is mistaken as synonymous with fundraising in the church. Church stewardship is so much more than that. It encompasses the holistic care for the church as an organization, the people who are part of the church community, and the missions that reach beyond the walls of the physical buildings. Traditionally our church runs a stewardship program in the fall culminating in a stewardship Sunday sometime in November. Pledges are made to the Annual Operating Fund which funds the Annual Budget. We are a Five for Five church, meaning that during the year we give to Our Church's Wider Mission (basic denominational support) and we participate in four special offerings throughout the year; Strengthen the Church, Neighbors in Need, One Great Hour of Sharing, and the Christmas Fund.
