Guidelines for Church Building Usage
Making our church available to outside organizations is an important part of our sense of mission. We are glad you are here. However, future use of the facility is contingent upon responsible actions and your respect for our guidelines.
In order to make our Church available to your group and others, we ask that your group observe the following guidelines and any instructions posted on signs within the building.
Unless special arrangements are agreed upon, there is no charge for the use of our building. However, donations to help with custodial service and general maintenance are encouraged.

- After receipt of your request by our office, the designated person for your event will be contacted by a member of the Building and Grounds Team advising the status of your request.
- You are responsible for set up AND take down of tables and chairs according to your needs. PLEASE PICK UP CHAIRS AND TABLES. DO NOT DRAG THEM ON THE FLOOR. Return room to original set up. Use only the areas approved for your use on request form.
- If kitchen usage is requested, approved and is used, it must be cleaned and left as before use. LEFTOVERS AND RECYCLABLES MUST BE TAKEN WITH YOU.
- After your event, please survey areas used to ensure all lights are off, windows are closed, and curtains/blinds are closed. If the kitchen was used, please ensure the stove and oven are completely off and refrigerator door is closed. Remove automatic back door feature, if engaged, before locking back door.
- No Smoking is allowed in the building.
- We do not allow alcoholic beverages, raffles or games of chance.
- The use of the church for events where an admission is charged is not permitted.
- The use of the church by groups or individuals campaigning or fundraising for political office is not permitted.
- Service dogs are welcome. Other dogs are allowed but must be on a leash or in a crate. Owners are responsible for their dog’s actions.
- If the leadership of your group changes, the new person must contact our office so that they can sign a new contract verifying they understand the conditions for use of our facility and that we have the correct contact information for the responsible person.
- In accordance with New York State regulations to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and our Church’s administration, we ask that each of your participants comply with the following guidelines:
- Individuals have not been in close contact with anyone who tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks.
- Individuals have not had symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks.
- Currently the wearing of masks is up to the individuals.
- Individuals must sign the notebook provided upon entering the building.
- IF ANYONE IN YOUR GROUP TESTS POSITIVE FOR, OR DEVELOPS SYMPTOMS OFCOVID-19 VIRUS, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE CHURCH OFFICE IMMEDIATELY.
