This year, send Christmas cards inspired by the beautiful angel banner artwork created by Bob Garrett! Bob was an art teacher at Corning-Painted Post West High who created beautiful artwork for the sanctuary and Sunday School rooms. Each Advent for the past 30 years we have hung his amazing angels in the sanctuary to help celebrate the glory of the Christmas season.
Cards come in packs of 8 with envelopes and are available now! Suggested donation is $10 per pack.
FCUCCC, working with members of Christ Episcopal Church, First Methodist Church, and other community leaders, is proud to launch the Corning Refugee Welcome Project. Through Welcome Corps, we have been approved to welcome a refugee family through the US Refugee Admissions Program.
The CRWP will provide food and shelter for the first 90+ days after arrival, plus assistance with gaining employment, securing services, language instruction, and cultural navigation to the newcomers. To help with these expenses, we are accepting cash donations as well as household goods. If you would like to help, please click on the options below!
