Once again this year, we will collect donations for Salvation Army in the month of September. In these difficult and uncertain times, we need to help its important mission as much as is possible.
Projects Needing Funding.
- Back to school assistance program in which purchases of clothing, shoes, socks, and underwear are needed for school-aged children.
- Kids Café program seeks donations for its after-school programs which includes purchasing school supplies: masks, paper, art supplies, snacks, etc.
- Money needed for the annual Christmas food baskets and the Angel Tree for children’s Christmas gifts.
Our church continues to do two Sunday evening suppers each year in March and August. For the last year and a half, we’ve had to purchase meals at Subway because of Covid.
"Where your treasure is, your heart will be also." Matthew 6:21
Often stewardship is mistaken as synonymous with fundraising in the church. Church stewardship is so much more than that. It encompasses the holistic care for the church as an organization, the people who are part of the church community, and the missions that reach beyond the walls of the physical buildings.
Traditionally our church runs a stewardship program in the fall culminating in a stewardship Sunday sometime in November. Pledges are made to the Annual Operating Fund which funds the Annual Budget.
Contributions may be made weekly during the service or by mailing a check OR using your bank's bill pay:
